Luther and the Lion

About this book

What would happen if Aslan came bounding out of Narnia and began teaching your confirmation class or bible study? What if Martin Luther could've traveled from Wittenberg through a wardrobe into Narnia while writing the Small Catechism? That's exactly what you'll find in Luther and the Lion, the story where the wisdom of Martin Luther's theology meets the whimsy of C.S. Lewis's storytelling, where the Christian mind teams up with the magic of Narnia for an enchanting exploration of the Christian faith, and where Christian instruction and imagination are not contradictions, but close companions. Luther and the Lion weaves together the imagination of C.S. Lewis's The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and the instruction of Martin Luther's Small Catechism. Readers are invited to share in an adventure of Scripture, storytelling, and an imaginative rediscovery of the teachings of the Small Catechism alongside the stories of Narnia. Two great authors. Two classic books. One epic, true story of Good News for you in Jesus, the true untamed Lion of Judah, full of grace and goodness.
