Dark Harmony

About this book

He can see the darkness. Lately, it's been hiding from him.Four years after the battle that nearly destroyed his family's church, Matthew Light still carries his grandfather's worn green Bible, and the sight that came with it. He sees what others can't: ancient presences stoking very human fires. But he has been fighting alone. Missing school pickups. Falling asleep over family game night. Briefing God instead of asking Him. And the enemy has changed tactics.Across the road from the old town, Harmon Commons gleams: a celebrated development Matthew helped engineer. Just outside its borders, something patient is settling over the neighborhoods like fog. Good men snap. Neighbors walk past each other. Families quietly move away. And Cole Harmon, the hometown son building it all, has started walking the long way around Matthew's Bible. Then Matthew's eleven-year-old daughter sees the thing standing behind a stranger on a park bench. The pattern isn't confined to one town. It is spreading across the South, and beyond. The people behind it are very good at erasing what they build. And above it all, the angel who has guarded three generations of the Light family watches Matthew's light begin to flicker. To stand against a darkness that has learned to hide, Matthew will have to learn the hardest lesson of his life: this war was never his to carry alone.Dark Harmony is Book 4 of the Light of the Ark series, a Christian supernatural thriller of angels, demons, prayer, and one family fighting for its town. For readers of Frank Peretti's This Present Darkness and Randy Alcorn's Dominion. A clean read: no profanity and no explicit content.
