BIBLE JOURNALING FOR KIDS Putting On The Full Armor of God

About this book

In Bible Journaling for Kids... Putting on the Full Armor of God, Dr. Deborah Scarborough illustrates the elements of the armor of God as noted in Ephesians 6:11-18 in a way that provides spiritual insight for our children and empowers them to be examples of the believers of God. These elements, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit are scripturally presented to make the word of God very real and applicable to our children's lives on a daily basis and help them to enjoy studying God's word. Writing from personal journaling experiences with her own children, Dr. Scarborough provides a practical tool and process for children to think through different life situations with the help of the bible, express their thoughts, learn scriptures, and pray to God. Through this interactive bible journaling, parents and Christian Educators can help children develop Christian character while having meaningful dialogue with them. At a time when our children are facing many challenges in life, this journal will teach them to take their stand against the devil's schemes by "Putting on the Full Armor of God".
