Baptist History for Kids

About this book

"I hope this book will help accomplish several things. (1) I hope that the 'kids' of whatever age, parents and offspring, will have a fun-profitable time together in a worthy endeavor. (2) I hope that readers, young and beyond-young, will learn how and why Baptists came to be. (3) I hope that readers will learn the names, faces, and deeds of some formative figures in the Baptist story. (4) I hope that readers (and listeners) will know that Baptist convictions are important and based on the Bible. (5) I hope that readers will share the devotion to truth and mission that have made Baptists God-centered, kingdom-centered, and Bible-centered. (6) I hope that some readers will determine to be missionaries, preachers, or Baptist historians. (7) I hope that all who read this will feel that the time was well-spent." - Tom Nettles
