Window In New York

About this book

"Window in New York" was written with the author's grandchildren in mind. Even in the exciting and bustling city, with all that New York has to offer, Naomi Malka expresses the concept that there is always another window, another opportunity, another "view", that provides joy, beauty and culture that magnetically entices us. Whether one lives in Manhattan or small -town America, one can always open yet another window to new dreams. This beautifully illustrated story describes some of the magical opportunities that Central Park provides children, the diverse cultural life that awaits the child literally right outside his or her home, and alludes to the delicate balancing of schoolwork tasks and extracurricular activities. Using her background as a dancer, the author artfully conjures up a window not only into life in Manhattan, but into the magic and excitement of new discoveries, artfully expanding the imaginative adventures of childhood.
