About this book

A true survival story.A fable more fantastic than fiction.Spring arrives on Lake Hubert, Minnesota, and Larry and Louise Loon return to their nest to welcome their new chicks into the world. Larry and Louise know who watches the little family; a predator by the name of Jody lurks in the skies above their peaceful summer home. When Jody sets her sights on the chicks, Louise shows the eagle exactly how ruthless a mama can be.Preening and proud, Papa Larry Loon tells a story of love and survival, the strength of family, and a mother's bravery as she protects her little ones.
