Sing Me The Truth

About this book

Little voices. Big questions. Timeless truth. How do you help a young child understand who God is, why Jesus came, and what it means to live in His grace?Sing Me the Truth invites you to begin with something children love: a song. Written for children ages 3-7 to enjoy with a parent or grandparent, this illustrated book brings together 52 Bible teaching chapters, 60 original songs-including sung prayers-and 52 additional prayers. Each chapter offers a gentle opportunity to read, wonder, talk, and sing together. Inside, your family will discover: - Big truths in little words: approachable teaching about God, creation, sin, Jesus Christ, salvation, and the Christian life.- Scripture at the centre: Bible passages from the English Standard Version (ESV), with teaching grounded in Reformed theology.- Music that carries the message: original songs that help children revisit and remember what they are learning.- Questions that welcome conversation: invitations to explore the truths of Scripture together.- Prayers to share: words that help little ones respond to God with thanksgiving, trust, and praise. At the heart of every chapter is God's grace, pointing children towards who He is, what He has done, and why we can trust Him. Whether shared at bedtime, around the family table, or during a quiet moment with a grandchild, Sing Me the Truth helps you make space for meaningful conversations about faith. You do not need to be a theologian or a musician. Simply open the book and begin together. The first book in Kerry Anne Boer's Systematic Theology for the Family series, written with love for her grandchildren and the generations yet to come. Read the truth. Sing the truth. Grow together in God's grace.
