Saves the Day

About this book

When lightning causes a fire at the wedding reception venue of culinary child prodigy Trudie Cooper's favorite teacher, Miss Best, it looks as if there will be no meal for the celebration. However, with only a box of vegetables and a few grapes to works with, and with the hour and a quarter she's got quickly running out, nine-year-old Trudie uses her extraordinary skill, and a dash to the only delicatessen in Melaleuca, to not only feed over seventy people but to make the perfect replacement for the destroyed wedding cake.
