Misfortunate Adventures

About this book

Jack Dare spends his days daydreaming. He dreams of life on the high seas. Of adventure, treasure, and excitement. He dreams of being anywhere that isn't Sister Mary Margarete's Home for Orphaned Youths. Because at Sister Mary's Jack gets the same boring food, the same boring lessons, and deals with the same boring people day after day after day. But Jack has a secret. One that promises excitement and adventure for the rest of his life. He figured out the location to Blackbeard's hidden treasure, and he plans on getting it. Now all he must do is escape the orphanage, join a ship's crew, sail halfway around the world, and dig it up before any other pirates. Easy. This page turning, high seas adventure is filled with laughs and plenty of swashbuckling action. Children of all ages, and their parents, are sure to enjoy the goofiest cast of characters to ever set sail.
