About this book

Wally's so sad, kinda mad, a little bad, brilliant Happy Day, is a short, rhyming book, perfect for preschoolers who often have difficulty identifying and dealing with their emotions. This unique book creatively, touches on inclusion, confidence, friendship, and nature. Wally is a young Beluga whale who has no one to play with. When he finally does make friends, he is told that their friendship couldn't possibly work. This young whale's emotions go from, so sad, to kinda mad, then a little bad, however with the approval of his mom, see how he turns those emotions into a brilliant happy day. I recommend this book as a classroom read-aloud or bedtime story for toddlers and preschoolers.
