Yeye's Stories

About this book

Through vivid stories from folklore and literature, grandfather (Yeye) teaches the little boy important lessons about growing up. But when Yeye goes far, far away, it is up to the boy, now grown, to recognize the importance of Yeye's Stories. This is a tale about tradition and overcoming loss, for children and adults alike. Steeped in culture and beautifully illustrated, the book teaches valuable lessons about treasuring the ones we love and holding on to the stories that make us who we are. Moving, gently pedagogical, with just a hint of humor, this is a great addition to any picture book collection.
