ABC Learn all about the Saints with me

About this book

ABC Learn About the Saints with Me shares the lives of over 26 saints venerated in the Orthodox church, a saint for each letter of the alphabet. From St. Anthony the Great, to St. Rebecca, to St. Zosimas, ABC Learn About the Saints with Me contains a selection of saints ranging from the time of Christ to modern day saints. In the book you will find stories of queens, soldiers, young children, friends, and families who expressed their love for Christ. Santa Claus even makes an appearance! ABC Learn About the Saints with Me is a book that introduces young children to the richness of the Orthodox church and allows them to experience God through His saints. Written in short, fun rhyming couplets, your children are sure to learn about the lives of the saints and have Christian role models to look up to, while etching the stories into their hearts. You and your children will love reading this book together. ABC Learn About the Saints with Me is written for children ages 0+, designed with a picture, the saint's name, and a short rhyme about the life of that saint. Each of these elements is intended to target the various developmental stages of the child. The picture will capture the infant's attention, the name is aimed to attract the growing toddler, and the rhyme is used to involve the young child. Use this book to begin dialogue about living saintly lives or even to delve more deeply into learning about the lives of the saints all while picking up positive spiritual habits such as living a life of prayer like Pope Kyrillos VI, facing adversity with bravery as Philomena did, or serving fervently in the church as Wanas the twelve year old martyr did.
