Lost Until the Light Comes

About this book

Chris is on a trip with his family and friends when he gets lost in the woods. What will he do? Lost Until the Light Comes teaches children that God is always with us and will help us when we pray. Children will also see how each member of the Trinity cares for us. TESTIMONIALS Tammy's new book is a captivating read. It is beautiful, skillfully written with an intuitive insight into both a parent and child's distress at being lost and then being found. The enthralling illustrations deepen the overriding sense of God's enfolding presence and protection. An absorbing read to share with our children in our arms.MARY HEAL, former primary school teacher "A sweet story that helps kids find their true 'north' as they pursue the path of faith."CLAUDIA CANGILLA MCADAM, Catholic Media Awards winner and author of Mother Cabrini: A Heart for the World, commissioned by Angel Studios and published by Sophia Institute Press "Tammy Fernando's second book, Lost Until the Light Comes, reminds us of our need for each other and for the guidance of our Good Shepherd. "A sweet story with lovely illustrations clearly created by someone with children!"SYLVIA DORHAM, author of The Monks' Daily Bread "Chris is persuaded to go on a journey to Beyond-Blue-Land. He has his compass, but it is no protection against the danger he encounters. In his great need he asks God to help him; he sees the Light and is safe. "Getting lost is a situation with which many children can identify. Lost Until the Light Comes is a simple story of a young boy's discovery of the closeness of Father, Son and Holy Spirit at a moment of great vulnerability: he is lost and is found."ANN HIGGS, former primary school headteacher
