That's your mom?

About this book

Jamie is a fairy born to parents that don't match in colour; her dad is blue and her mom is silver. When people see her with her mom for the first time they always say, "That's your mom?" because Jamie is blue like her dad and doesn't match the colour of her mom. This is upsetting for Jamie, especially when asked if she is adopted. Jamie is trying to figure out how to respond to these situations with the support of her family. This book is about a multicultural family figuring out everyday issues, including racism and prejudice.
