Ella's Journey

About this book

Ella Andrea Esmée Sophia was born Lady Davis in an alpine valley of central Europe. When her stepmother squanders the inheritance, Ella does not wait for a prince to find her - she packs her knapsack. In this tale of friendship, self-reliance, suffering, and adventure, Ella Davis becomes first a chef, then a traveler, potter, friend, shepherdess, teacher, and servant, before she finally finds home.A celebration of literacy, rich in scenery and historical detail, the heart of this story is much older than that of Cinderella. It is the song of a heart courageously carrying the gifts of the past into an uncertain future. If your heart has known sorrow, then join Ella on... the Journey.
