Diving Deeper

About this book

Obtain your freedom while diving deeper into God's plan for your life with this daily discipleship field guide.Diving Deeper demonstrates how to obtain freedom from every form of bondage and how to achieve positive, measureable results in daily life through the personal empowerment of the Holy Spirit.Additionally, this field guide provides Holy Spirit guidance for the personal application of scripture for every challenge of life. Diving Deeper is written in a daily format to encourage the habit of seeking God every day so that personal spiritual growth can take place. In Matthew 28:18, the last command Jesus gave His followers was to "go and make disciples". A "disciple" is a "disciplined learner". Someone who is a "church member" is not necessarily a "disciple". This discipleship field guide is for anyone who wants to be a "disciplined learner" by growing in knowledge of the Scriptures, and being led by the Holy Spirit to apply the Word to every life situation.Jesus came to restore us to relationship with our Heavenly Father. The Holy Spirit is our Teacher, Counselor, Friend, Helper and Guide. Committing a block of time daily with Him is a key to growing in relationship to our Father. This book helps the believer establish the discipline of spending time daily in the Word, and with the Holy Spirit. Seeking God earnestly every day results in personal spiritual growth and rewards (Hebrews 11:6)."I was bound in prisons of my own making - addictions, pride, depression, anger, bi-polar illness, un-forgiveness, shame, regret, etc. - long before I was incarcerated behind the steel bars and razor wire of a penal institution. The Truth I found in Jesus and His Word by His Holy Spirit set me free long before I was released to the free world. God did it for me; He will for you." Stephen Canup
