Rainy Season Rhymes

About this book

Children's book author James V. Dwalu has written some delightful poems, rhymes, and even a riddle, all focused on rain, water, rainbows, and fun. Regis F. Muhirwa has illustrated Rainy Season Rhymes beautifully, creating a story of two siblings and their Mama experiencing a rainy season day in an idyllic African setting. Parents, teachers, and advocates for people living with albinism will find several great topics to discuss with kids: weather, the importance of water, taking care of yourself, and playing and living in harmony despite differences. Young readers will love hearing the short, catchy poems, or reading them aloud on their own.
