Kim, Leon, and the Sky Path to Africa

About this book

Kim and Leon live on a farm in Suffolk England. Yet a rainy day encounter leads the bored boy and his experienced donkey on an adventure far away in Africa. How do they end up there? What dangers do they meet? Who will they meet? What is the slave ship doing in the bay? Who can be trusted? Is there a way back? As a teacher of English and history, Barnaby Allen has managed to combine a beautifully written story of suspense with an immersion in history. In addition the book comes with tasks of writing, acting and drawing - including that of designing the cover. These can be used for private pleasure or for a shared reading of the book within a class. Happy reading!
