The Courier

About this book

Every day, thousands of couriers transport the world's most closely guarded secrets. Secrets worth killing for... Diplomatic courier Daisy Colson never knows what's in the pouches she's entrusted to protect. That's not the job. But when her plane is hijacked and one of her pouches is stolen, she realizes she's carrying something far more dangerous than she ever imagined. Especially when it becomes clear she wasn't supposed to make it off the plane alive. Now, framed for treason and hunted across Europe, Daisy must uncover what she was assigned to protect--and get it back. The daughter of a general and a professor, Daisy has the instincts of a soldier and the mind of a codebreaker. She'll need both to clear her name and stop the sinister conspiracy behind what could become the deadliest terrorist attack on U.S. soil. A pulse-pounding, cinematic thriller for fans of Reacher and Alias, THE COURIER is the start of a new series from #1 WSJ bestselling author Melinda Leigh.
