Green Bay Packers: An Illustrated Timeline

About this book

The Green Bay Packers were founded in 1919 thanks to the vision of Earl "Curly" Lambeau, and the franchise hasn't stopped making history since. Not only is it the NFL team with the most wins of all time and the most league championships with 13, it is also the most unique in that it is a publicly owned club from by far the smallest market in the league. This book will take readers on a journey through the Packers' storied legacy, from its beginnings of being sponsored by meat-packing plants through the glory years under Vince Lombardi and into the present. Readers will learn about superstar players like Don Hutson, Bart Starr, Paul Hornung, Brett Favre, Reggie White, Aaron Rodgers, and many others, while also uncovering important figures like the enigmatic Johnny Blood and the talent-savvy Jack Vainisi. In your hands, you hold author Kevin Gibson and Cheesehead TV's guide book to well more than 100 years of Packers lore. Go Pack Go!
