Leo the Lion

About this book

One day while racing with his friends, Leo the lion realizes he is not as fast as the other lions of his pride. He can't help but wonder if maybe he is not who he believes himself to be. Is he a lion, or is he something else? Leo sets out to discover his identity, but the more he tries to be like other animals, the more he realizes he cannot do what any of the other animals can do. Feeling lost and confused, the sad little lion nearly gives up on his search until a gentle reminder from his father reveals a spiritual truth that was with him the whole time. A story of redemption and a reminder that we all have a firm identity in Jesus Christ, Leo the Lion by Tanner DiBella shares a compelling message for children as they grow into their own identities. Di Bella has equipped parents with the means to speak the truth of the Word of God to their children in a culture that promotes confusion and has ways of leading others to question their own identities. Tanner DiBella is a children's author, speaker, and pro-life advocate whose goal is to empower a generation of Christians to stand up, speak out, and redeem a rather confusing culture. He serves on the executive leadership team at Destiny Christian Church in Rocklin, California and is the president of The American Council, one of the most influential Christian advocacy groups in California. Leo the Lion is the first book in a series of the same name to remind children to always look to Jesus when they feel lost or confused.
