Lilly and the Ladybug

About this book

Have you ever been lost and unsure how to get home? Join Lilly as she wanders off on a stony path into the woods and becomes lost. With the sun beginning to set, Lilly realizes she is alone and becomes very afraid. How will she ever make it through the night and find her way home? In Lilly and the Ladybug by Katie Morrison Brill, Lilly is surprised when a Ladybug who sees her crying offers to help her find her way home. Ladybug and her special creature friends work together to help Lilly safely through the night and return back home the next morning. Can you discover the blessings Lilly receives when she feels scared and alone? What will happen to her? How will she stay warm and safe? Will she be able to see in the dark woods? Hear how Ladybug and her friends were an answer to Lilly's parent's prayers for God's protection and mercy. God has His ways of taking care of us, but it is up to us to recognize His hand. Greetings! I'm Katie. This book is 30 years in the making. Originally a poem, it's now the children's book I've always wanted it to be. I believe you found this book for a reason. I was born and live in Pennsylvania, USA . I have 5 siblings, 2 children, 2 grandchildren, 11 nieces/nephews, and 7 great nieces/nephews who I'd love to see more frequently, as family, family times, and memories are cherished. My Motto: We're here to help each other through this life. I'm an adventurous, poly-creative, artsy-craftsy type; a lover of laughter, smiles, and hugs. (Some things everyone does in the same language!) I enjoy the outdoors, gardening, traveling, and putting my feet, hands, and heart to my faith in Jesus. I've experienced good and bad in life, but the Lord has ALWAYS seen me through. This book is a testimony to that, through the eyes of child.
