Sam and the Sticky Situation is a playful, vividly illustrated story that helps children understand whining and learn better ways to express what they want.Sam has discovered that whining is a very effective way to get his way, and the more it works, the more he uses it. Along the way, families also discover that children do not always whine on their own--sometimes they learn it from the adults around them.Written by bestselling author Ginger Hubbard with Al Roland, this humorous story helps parents look beneath the behavior to the heart issues that drive whining.
