Unicorn and Horse Are Friends

About this book

Unicorn and Horse are dynamic opposites--and unlikely best friends. Unicorn is everything you'd expect: magical, bubbly, prancing on rainbows, and living on pink cupcakes. Horse is, well, just plain Horse--pragmatic, brown, deadpan, and easily annoyed by all the sparkle. But after surviving kidnappers, traveling circuses, and big emotions, these two opposites have proven that true friendship doesn't require being the same. In this hilarious and heart-filled story about navigating real-world friendships, Unicorn and Horse shows young readers what happens when two completely different personalities learn to share space, overcome jealousy, and stand up for each other when it counts. Featuring deadpan comedy and 48 pages of vibrant, expressive artwork from illustrator Hollie Mengert, this book brings an invaluable message about social-emotional growth, acceptance, and finding joy in our differences.
