Faith and the Founding of America

About this book

Led by Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin, they crafted the Declaration of Independence, boldly proclaiming that all people are endowed by their Creator with God-given rights and that liberty was a gift no king could rightfully take away. With their signatures, they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to the cause of freedom. But declaring independence was far easier than securing it.Within months, the American Revolution seemed on the verge of collapse.
