Hanna Asks for Help

About this book

What can you do when you're feeling stuck? From the creator of Ruby Finds a Worry comes a reassuring story about relying on others and accepting that it's okay to ask for help. Hanna is happy to enjoy playing her favorite sports-because she's great at them! She's not so great at math, but her classmates seem to solve their math problems as easily as Hanna kicks a soccer ball or swings a tennis racket. Contending her confusion on her own gets too overwhelming, leading Hanna to discover the simple magic of lending and receiving a helping hand! This charming picture book reminds children that we are all good at different things, and that life is easier when we work together rather than struggling on our own. The Big Bright Feelings picture book series provides kid-friendly entry points into emotional intelligence topics-from being true to yourself to dealing with worries, managing anger, and making friends. These topics can be difficult to talk about.
