Firefly Lullaby

About this book

From the inimitable author-illustrator Kenneth Kraegel comes another sweetly soothing bedtime book in the vein of Mushroom Lullaby and Mermaid Lullaby. As the sun sets on a warm summer evening, a very small sound calls to those with a certain kind of ear. It is not the sighing song of wrens and robins, nor is it the gentle hum of crickets. It's the magical sound of fireflies--dancing to the music of tiny trumpets, feasting upon an elaborate banquet, and singing songs to settle their wings before huddling close for a soothing night's sleep. This charming and cozy story, with its luminous imagery and lyrical text, will lull little ones into comforting dreams of fireflies flickering in the night.
