Look for the Helpers

About this book

A new generation of children love Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, inspired by the classic series Mister Rogers' Neighborhood! Daniel gets scared when a storm hits the Neighborhood and learns to look for people who can help in this relatable story based on an episode of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. Daniel learns an important lesson that is also a beloved quote from Mister Rogers: "Look for the helpers." When something bad happens, whether it's a bad storm, natural disaster, or anything scary, Daniel learns that if you look closely, you will always find good people helping out those in need. This storybook is perfect to share with little ones who need a helping hand to understand their feelings, and will also inspire them to be helpers in their neighborhood, just like Daniel Tiger! This book includes a special backmatter section with more information about helpers, like firefighters, how to prepare for the unexpected, make an emergency kit, and ideas to inspire kids to be helpers--and stay safe--every day!
