Love Incarnate

About this book

In her latest book, Jan Frazier portrays her state of consciousness 20 years following her spiritual awakening in 2003. She tells of the loss that occurred three years prior and the profound grief it caused. The heart ultimately came to define Jan's daily experience, overwhelming every other consideration. So potent was this love that for an interval she believed she had entered dementia. Love Incarnate: Twenty Years After Awakening [italic] shows what life has been like for Jan Frazier in recent times. The reader gets an intimate acquaintance with her ordinary days, revealing both her genuine humanness and what it means to be fully awake: for although Jan cherishes her life, she is blessedly free of attachment to any of it. And so it becomes possible to imagine the same thing occurring for any of us who long to stop suffering, who ache to be released from the mind's torment. "You will feel the authenticity behind what Jan says. No theories here. She is especially good at pointing out the obstacles to awakening that our thinking introduces." - Michael Dawson, Teacher of A Course in Miracles [italic] "Brilliant. A window into the day-to-day of an awake person. It debunks the impression that being free means you're ecstatic all the time. I know of no other book on spirituality having this real-life perspective. " - James Edward, Musician Frazier is also the author of When Fear Falls Away: The Story of a Sudden Awakening; The Freedom of Being: At Ease with What Is; Opening the Door: Jan Frazier Teachings on Awakening; and The Great Sweetening: Life After Thought.
