The Final Wish of Mr. Murray McBride

About this book

In the second book in the international bestselling Mr. Murray McBride series, the path to finding future happiness might just be paved in the lessons of the past . . . Jason Cashman has reached the goal he spent the last twenty years seeking: raising a million dollars for charity. But instead of feeling content, he now feels empty. What comes next? When he meets Alexandra Lopez--a determined ten-year-old girl facing deportation and uncertainty--he is inspired by his old friend, Murray McBride, to help her fulfill five wishes before she must leave. Jason and Alexandra set out to check off as many of her wishes as possible, but when his transplanted heart begins to fail, he must choose between his obligations to the past and his hope for a future. This heartwarming coming-of-age novel is perfect for fans of Fredrik Backman's A Man Called Ove and Robert Dugoni's The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell.
