Welcome to Camp Croak!

About this book

An exciting new chapter book series for fans of The Notebook of Doom series, in which a little girl's plans for summer camp switch from sunshine and makeup to zombies and ghosts--in the best way possible. What do you do when you are dropped off at a summer camp for monsters? Summer camp involves all the things that Lexie hates--sunshine, smiling, and sports. But luck seems to pass her way when her grandmother takes a wrong turn and accidentally drops her off at Camp Croak, a creepy campground based in a Kraken-filled bayou that is run by conjoined triplet witches. Now Lexie is bunkmates with an anxiety-ridden werewolf, a grumpy living skeleton, and a tiny ghost who will do anything to protect her friends. Lexie learns to love her new camp and is just starting to fit in, when a monster-hating, beauty-pageant-obsessed counselor shows up . . . and she's determined to close Camp Croak! Can Lexie and her friends save the day before Scoutmaster Vile ruins everything? Taylor Dolan invites readers to the hilarious world of Camp Croak of the Ghost Scouts. Welcome to Camp Croak! includes her stylized, fantastically funny two-color art.
