Soaking in Graces

About this book

Soaking in Graces: Exploring the Interior Life for Children is a gentle introduction to the spiritual journey of the soul. The child friendly metaphor of a dinosaur sponge growing in water brings to life the wisdom of Carmelite masters St. Theresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross. This book invites young readers to discover how God's love helps us grow from the inside out. Rooted in the wisdom of the saints, and a Catholic Christian perspective, Soaking in Graces helps children understand the invisible but very real growth of the soul through grace, the sacraments and love. Perfect for read-aloud, family catechesis, or quiet reflection, it nurtures both wonder and holiness in young hearts.
