About this book

"The Scottish Book of Common Prayer" serves as the definitive liturgical foundation for the Scottish Episcopal Church, offering a structured and spiritually rich framework for communal and private worship. It also contains the Order for Morning and Evening Prayer, the Psalter, and various occasional offices such as baptism, confirmation, and burial. The text is designed to guide the faithful through the liturgical year, providing the necessary collects, epistles, and gospels for each Sunday and holy day.As a significant historical and religious document, "The Scottish Book of Common Prayer" is noted for its dignified prose and its role in maintaining the continuity of the Episcopal faith in Scotland.
