Splish, Splash! First to Last

About this book

This colorful picture book combines a math theme with plenty of aquatic fun as 10 Gulf Coast animal friends meet up one by one for a rollicking game of under-the-sea volleyball. FIRST on the scene is lonely Lill. "Is someone here to play?" SECOND is snack shack helper Sam. "I'll join you right away!" Both educational and engaging, the book's playful illustrations feature a seahorse, sea turtle, manatee, manta ray, and other Gulf Coast animals. Early readers will enjoy this fun story with a number theme, while more-advanced learners will benefit from the concepts of sequencing and the ordering of objects in a collection. Perfect for at-home learning or the classroom, this book is ideal for parents and teachers looking to explore early math concepts with young readers.
