A Wife's 40-Day Fasting and Prayer Journal

About this book

Marriage is the beautiful institution designed to reflect Christ and His bride, the Church. And within this covenant there is one who holds a position of intricate worth and power. Her strength is quiet and gentle. She gathers grace and sprinkles it lavishly upon those around her. She collects pieces of sad and weary hearts, salves them with kindness and washes them with comfort. Her presence is a joy, her words are wise, her life, although difficult, is like a well-watered garden, peaceful and vibrant. She is called wife. Her power is love, founded and replenished in the One who created her. He invites her to partake of His love, then enables her to live moment by moment through its power. As she leans fully upon Him, she knows He will never let her down; He will never leave nor forsake her. She knows her Father and He knows her. A Wife's 40-Day Fasting and Prayer Journal is designed to bring wives to the feet of Jesus through prayer and other spiritual disciplines. Devotional readings, Prayers to pray over your husband, Scripture writing, Prayer journaling prompts, and Fasting options (choose your own or follow the daily guide) will help you place your marriage in the hands of the One who designed it. Each day will equip you with practical wisdom, open communication with the Father, and encourage greater faith, dependency, and growth in Him.
