Talimul Fiqh Grade 2
About this book
Ta'limul Fiqh Grade Two outlines foundational Islamic rules on purification, prayer, and dietary laws: 1. Toilet Manners & Purification Manners: Enter with the left foot wearing a head covering and leave with the right. Sit/squat to avoid urine splashes, which can bring punishment in the grave. Istinjaa: Wash yourself with water using the left hand. Squatting on a low pan toilet is the healthier Sunnah method. 2. Wudhu (Ablution) & Ghusal (Bathing) Wudhu Fardh Acts: Wash the entire face, wash both arms including elbows, wipe (Masah) a quarter of the head, and wash both feet including ankles. Missing any spot invalidates Salaah. Wudhu Breakers: Broken by using the toilet, passing wind, sleeping, flowing blood, a mouthful of vomit, or laughing loudly in prayer. Ghusal Fardh Acts: Gargle the mouth, rinse the nose, and wash the entire body once. It is Sunnah to bath on Fridays and Eid. 3. Salaah (Prayer) Importance: The second pillar of Islam and the first question asked on Judgement Day. Postures: Teaches the five daily prayers (Fajr, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Ishaa) and five main positions: Qiyaam (standing), Ruku (bowing), Sajdah (prostration), Qa'dah (sitting), and Salaam. 4. Halaal & Haraam Food Haraam (Forbidden): Pork, alcohol/wine, meat slaughtered by non-Muslims, and sweets with non-halaal gelatin. Consuming haraam blocks prayers from being accepted. Halaal (Permissible): Animals like chickens, sheep, and cows are halaal only if slaughtered by a Muslim reciting Bismillah. Buying from non-Muslim takeaways is forbidden.
