Change Your Morning, Change Your Life

About this book

Tired of chaotic mornings and stressful days? How you start your day determines how you live the rest of it. Begin with God and carry His peace all day! Most mornings start the same way: We reach for our phones, scroll through everyone else's lives, and feel the stress of the day before it's even begun. But what if we began differently? If Kerstin Lindquist, the Emmy Award-winning journalist and beloved health coach, were sitting with you right now, she'd ask, "How is your soul this morning?" Because the truth is, when we give God our firsts--our first thoughts and our first moments--He fills our day with the peace we've been searching for everywhere else.In Change Your Morning, Change Your Life, Kerstin guides you through a gentle morning routine with the Lord, built around ten prayer prompts designed to cultivate God's peace, presence, and participation in your life. Drawing on both Scripture and scientific insights--as well as Kerstin's own experiences of infertility, adoption, grief, and hope--these fifty beautifully written entries help you slow down, center your heart, and meet God in a simple but purposeful way. Each entry includes the following: A heartfelt devotion to encourage your heart and guide your thoughts A scripture and reflection question to help you pause and listen Ten prayer prompts with space to journal your prayers and reflections A meaningful gift for those looking to connect more deeply with Christ and wanting a peaceful start to the day, this devotional helps you form a habit of being personal and specific in your quiet time with God and in your prayers. When you give your first moments to God, your days begin to look--and feel--different. Peace first. Everything else follows.
