The Dog Who Walks Himself

About this book

"And with that the yellow dog raised his head a little higher and smiled in the way that dogs do. It had turned out to be a very satisfying walk indeed."This is the heartwarming story of two dogs, an older wiser dog and a young dog who admires and follows the older dog everywhere. Together they explore the world of the small town and surrounding countryside where they live. They discover the sights and scents together, the familiar towns people, the changing seasons, and the creatures of the countryside. When the young dog loses his older companion, he is apprehensive about being able to enjoy the world on his own. However, after his first few cautious steps, he follows his nose, grows in confidence, and becomes The Dog Who Walks Himself.
